I'm collecting photos from the press, mostly older material from the 70's and 80's, american...and I'm collecting graphics: lithographs, engravings, photo gravures. All this turn their own circles in my head. When some weeks ago someone crashed into a group of kids with his car, just some hundred meters from here,...I brought those 2 things together and made this work: "The Attack". Both, the photograph and also the litho, bring their own story..., right as the group of people that got attacked and were immediatly turned into victims..., but also the driver who drove his car directly into that crowd to kill them. Every story has its own tradegy. Waht happens if you fix 2 stories to one?

This special work is framed in a found metal frame behind glass. It was important for me, not to add anything personal: no "stroke", no color, no nothing. The work only consists of found materials that were arranged and assembeled to visualize a scenery of the most impossible to happen: an attack.
